We offer various smart locks with different authentication methods—keypad, fingerprint, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Z-Wave models. Our locks are designed to meet UL 294 safety standards for access control systems, which define minimum construction, performance, and operational requirements. UL 294 evaluates key security features including:
-
Resistance to forced entry – how well the lock withstands physical attack
-
Electronic security – protection against tampering and unauthorized access
-
Fail-safe operation – ensuring proper function in power loss scenarios
-
Cybersecurity – encryption and authentication protocols
5. What types of surveillance cameras do you offer?

Our smart video doorbells include features like HD video, two-way audio, motion detection, night vision, and cloud/local storage options.
7. Are your devices safe and certified?
Yes. All our products comply with:
-
FCC Certification: Mandatory for all wireless devices sold in the U.S. All our devices are FCC-certified for electromagnetic compatibility and RF safety.
-
UL 294 Certification: Smart locks meet UL 294 access control safety standards.
-
Cybersecurity: We follow FTC IoT security recommendations including "security by design" (building security into devices from the outset) and conducting risk assessments prior to launch.
8. What are the audio recording consent laws?
Audio recording laws vary by state. For example:
-
California requires two-party consent for audio recording. All parties must be aware of and agree to being recorded. We strongly recommend disabling audio recording on security devices in California.
-
Texas and Florida are one-party consent states, allowing audio capture if at least one person consents (including the homeowner).
-
Other states have varying requirements. It is your responsibility to understand and comply with your state's laws.
9. Can my security camera record neighbors' property?
In general, recording areas visible from a public vantage point is legal. However, deliberately pointing a camera at a neighbor's enclosed backyard, bedroom window, or other areas with a reasonable expectation of privacy may violate California Penal Code §647(j) and similar laws in other states.
10. Does the CCPA apply to my surveillance footage?
Yes. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), video footage that identifies individuals is considered personal data. We are committed to:
-
Transparency about what data we collect (including footage)
-
Offering opt-out rights for data "sales"
-
Minimizing data collection to only what is necessary
-
Encrypting data in transit and at rest
11. Do your products comply with COPPA?
The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) applies to online services that knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Our products are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Parents should supervise children's use of connected devices. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us.
